Keri is originally from Philadelphia, PA but moved to Fort Myers, FL after graduating high school to attend college where she earned her BAS in Public Safety Management. In 2010, she moved to the Lowcountry after her husband got a job with the Charleston Fire Department. She has a daughter born November 2010 and a son born February 2013. Keri is one of our full time working moms, and the Fund Development Director at Dorchester Children’s Advocacy Center, a child advocacy center in Summerville. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, and Philadelphia Eagles football. Keri is also a member of the Junior Service League of Summerville, Leadership Dorchester- Class of 2018, and Lowcountry Fire Wives. Keri’s past positions include Calendar Coordinator, Sunshine Meals Coordinator, Social Media and Website Coordinator, Fundraising Chair, Membership Chair, and four terms as Co-Leader before becoming Treasurer.

Mallorie (Membership Chair)


Mallorie is originally from Jacksonville, FL but moved to South Carolina for undergraduate and graduate school where she earned her Masters in Accounting. She then moved to Philadelphia, PA after meeting her would-be husband in 2010. In 2017, she moved back to the Lowcountry after her husband was transferred here with his job when she was 36 weeks pregnant. Her son was born in August 2017. Mallorie is one of our part time working moms (from home), an accountant with her company in Philadelphia. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, and Jacksonville Jaguars football. Mallorie is also a member of the Junior Service League of Summerville. This is her first year in the group and her first leadership position.

Amber (Public Relations Chair)



Amber is originally from Morganton, NC. She attended Mars Hill University in the mountains of North Carolina where she received her BA in English and Secondary Education. After teaching middle school and high school English and Social Studies for 10 years, she moved in 2016 to North Charleston to follow her husband’s new job at Volvo. She stopped teaching to stay at home and home-school and care for her three daughters. She enjoys dancing, running, making jewelry, and volunteer work.
